What FormReady is

FormReady is a self-service tool that turns a photo you supply into a file formatted to published official specifications (dimensions, background colour, head position, file size) and reports how well the photo meets those rules. FormReady is not affiliated with any government, embassy, examination board or employer and does not issue documents. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Prices, purchase and delivery

The preview and compliance check are free. Paying the displayed one-time price unlocks the download of the digital file and print sheet for the photo you have just processed. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Current prices are listed on the pricing page; the final amount, including any applicable tax and shown in your local currency where supported, is displayed at checkout before you confirm.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's checkout buyer terms apply to the payment in addition to these terms.

Delivery is immediate: as soon as the payment is confirmed, the download buttons in your browser are enabled for that session. By completing the purchase you request immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that, where consumer law provides a statutory right of withdrawal, that right ends once the files are made available. Our voluntary 14-day refund policy below still applies.

Refunds and acceptance guarantee

If an authority rejects a photo that passed every compliance check without warnings, send us the rejection notice within 60 days and we will re-edit the photo free of charge or refund the purchase in full. If you are not satisfied for any other reason, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Full details are in the refund policy.

Your responsibilities

• Use a recent photo of yourself, or of a person you are legally entitled to represent.
• Do not alter facial features; the tool only crops, scales and replaces the background.
• Confirm the current requirements on the portal you are submitting to.
• Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose, including identity fraud.

Intellectual property

You keep all rights to your photos. The files we generate from them are yours to use without restriction. The FormReady software, specifications database and site content remain our property.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the price paid for the affected photo. We are not liable for missed deadlines, application fees or travel costs. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law grants you and that cannot be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms and the specifications database at any time. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Consumers also keep the protection of the mandatory law of their country of residence. EU consumers may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
